In Kazakhstan inflation in April was 0.3%

Prices of food and non-food items in the past month increased by 0.2%, paid services - by 0.5%.

Astana. May 3. Kazakhstan Today - Inflation in the Republic of Kazakhstan in April 2013 was 0.3%, since the beginning of the year - 2.2%, Kazakhstan Today reports.

"Prices of food and non-food items in the past month increased by 0.2%, paid services - by 0.5%," the Agency for Statistics informed.

According to the agency, in the past month on average in the republic price increase noted at 2.4% beet, carrot - by 2.3%, eggs - by 1.6%, semolina - 1.2%, mutton - by 0.7%, potatoes - by 0.6%, pasta, fish and seafood - 0.4%, pearl barley - 0.3%. Reduced price is fixed at 7.1% for cucumbers, tomatoes - by 2.8%, buckwheat - by 2.4%, sunflower oil, onion - by 0.8%, cabbage - by 0.7%.

The prices of detergents and cleaning products increased by 0.5%, clothing and footwear, personal care products, building materials - by 0.3%, household textiles, pharmaceutical products - by 0.2%.

Intercity bus fare went up by 1.4%, health care, pre-school and primary education - by 1%, hairdressing and personal services - by 0.8%, while travel by railway passenger transport over long distances - fell by 1.1%.

In the sphere of housing and communal services tariffs on cold water rose 4%, sewerage - by 2.7%, the housing - 1.7%, gas transported through the distribution networks - by 1%.
