According to the data of the Ministry, the indicators of the country's fuel and energy area demonstrate the positive growth trend.
Kazakh Vice Minister of Energy Mukhambet Dosumkhambetov told about the key volume indications of production of gas, oil, coal and other minerals in Kazakhstan over 9 months of the present year.

According to the Vice Minister, over 9 months of 2018, the key indications of the country's fuel and energy area demonstrate the positive growth trend. Since the beginning of the year, the production volume of oil condensate has made up around 67.3 million tons with a 5.3% increase compared to the given period in 2017 and a 3.7% increase over the plan for 9 months of the present year. Oil production in the three major projects has made up 40.2 million tenges, including Kashagan - 9.5 million tons, Tengiz - 21.5 million tons, Karazhaganak - 9.2 million tons.

In addition, he noted that this year oil exports amount to 54.2 million tons of oil, with a 4.6% increase compared to the same period of 2017. The volume of oil processing has reached 112.6 million tons of oil, demonstrating a 7.1% increase to January-September 2017 and exceeding the plan by 1.3%.

In general the situation on the market of oil products is stable, a shortage of fuel is not observed. As of October 10, the average price for AI 92 petroleum throughout Kazakhstan is 155.22 tenges, and that for diesel fuel is 191.81 tenges per litre. As of today, the amount of fuel lubricants is sufficient to meet the demand of the internal market. AI 92 petroleum stock equals to 327, and that of diesel fuel - 206 thousand tons sufficient for 17 days. In the present time the shipping of diesel fuel under planned 394.4 thousand tons makes up 336.8 thousand tons, 85.4 of the plan. In accordance with the request of the Agriculture Ministry, the demand for diesel fuel has been fully met," said Dosmukhambetov.

Also, in order to conduct work to dry grain, the Ministry of Energy jointly with the Kazakh Ministry of Agriculture submitted a schedule in the volume of 50 thousand tons at the commercial price. Supplies of heating oil to social and production units in the amount of 312 thousand tons at the price of 80 thousand tenges per ton will be organized so to ensure a stable 2018-2019 heating period.

The volume of gas production since the year's beginning, according to the Vice Minister, has made up 41.4 billion cubic metres, demonstrating the increase compared to January-September in 2017 by 5.7% or a 6.3% increase over the plan for 9 months of the present year.

Gas exports equal to 15.7 billion cubic metres, by 27.4 more compared to 2017. 2.3 million tons of petroleum gas has been produced, a 5.3% increase compared to the given period in 2017. Bitumen oil production makes up 695 thousand tons that are by 16.4% more than in the same period of 2017. Power generation equals 78.8 billion that is by 5.7% more compared to the past year.

The volume of coal production has been 81 million tons with a 5.8% increase. Uranium mining has reached around 16 thousand, that is 92.6% of the same period of 2017. The figure reduced as a result of the stable low price on the market of uranium. The fuel and energy sector continues dynamically developing," said Mukhambet Dosmukhambetov.
