Kazakhstan enterprises gained KZT9tln over 2017

The greatest growth of revenue occurred in the 4th quarter.
According to the results of 2017, the large and medium enterprises received income of 9 trillion tenge, that is by 40.8% higher that in the previous year, finprom.kz reports.

The greatest growth of income was in 2017, in the 4thquarter. Over the period, the companies gained 3.1 trillion tenge, and in the same period of the previous year, the income was 1.7 trillion tenge (increase by 77.3%).

The large and medium business of Akmola regions was the most successful, the total income of companies increased over a year almost by 3 times, from 43.8 to 129 billion tenge.

In the capital, companies considerably increased their income, up to 480.4 billion tenge, an increase of 54.7% over a year.

In the financial centre of Almaty, there was an increase by 42.3%, from 1.5 to 2.2 trillion tenge.

At the same time, in Kostanay region, income decreased over a year by 64.4 billion tenge (more than by two times), and was 43.4 billion tenge against 107.8 billion tenge in the previous year.

The large and medium business of North Kazakhstan region in 2017 was with a small income of 3.8 billion tenge, which is considerably better compared to the indicators of the last years, when the companies had losses.

At the same time, the great growth in income was among the companies that present financial and insurance services. Over the year, their income increased by 27 times, from 48.5 billion tenge to 1.3 trillion tenge. They are followed by the companies with professional, scientific and technical activities. Income of the companies also greatly increased by almost 10 times, from 79.2 to 766.1 billion tenge.

Despite the high income of companies in some spheres, in many spheres, the results were worse that a year ago. Thus, there was decrease in income and losses in the transport and storage, wholesale and retail trade spheres, as well as in repairing of cars and motorbikes, electricity supply, transactions in real estate, the sphere of art, entertainment and rest.

The greatest decrease of income was among large and medium companies that operate in construction. Income over the year decreased by 87.2% from 1.3 trillion tenge to 160.9 trillion tenge.

At the same time, the companies in the sphere of art and entertainment ended the year more pessimistically, with losses of 3.5 billion tenge.
