Kazakhstan food products to be supplied to Tajikistan

"The first hypermarket of the international trade network Auchan opened in Dushanbe last summer. Today, we agreed with the retail management and now, along with imported products, Kazakh food products such as confectionery, eggs, fish oil and fat products, flour, mayonnaise, rice, salt and drinks will be supplied to the market, " M. Maikenov said.

Along with the above products, representatives of Auchan were interested in the products of Rybprom LLP with a new line for fish semi-finished products, which have no analogues in Central Asia.

"We are certainly interested in the Tajik market. Thanks to the support of KAZAKH INVEST, we presented our products to category managers of Auchan. At present, we are preparing direct contracts for the network on mutually beneficial terms, " Deputy Director of Rybprom LLP, Serik Timirkhanov said after the talks.

Caspian Beverage Holding is the first time on the Tajik market.

"We were surprised that the price for local and imported similar products is higher than our price with delivery. In the near future, we will start to supply Tajikistan, " Roman Pasichnichenko, Director of Caspian Beverage Holding JSC for regional products export said.

The trade mission Kazakhstan - Tajikistan with the participation of domestic manufacturers of pharmaceutical products, machine building, construction, food industries, more than 30 companies will be launched in Dushanbe tomorrow. About 120 companies from Tajikistan applied to participate in the forum.
