22 soldiers are taken from avalanche in Jambyl region, seven dead

At the moment forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and Ministry of Defence released 22 servicemen from under blockages, their condition isn't specified. Soldiers served in a mountain-hunting regiment, regional command "SOUTH", the representative of the emergency department of the Jambyl region reported.
The press service of emergency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan specified that 7 people died.
"At 1.15 pm CES of the Jambyl region received the message from the huntsman of Zhualyn district, in 35-40 km from the village of Ala Tau, in the gorge of "Koksay" an avalanche occured. Under a blockage there is military personnel.
Without delay rescue divisions were directed to the scene which are en route and now are 75 people and 7 pieces of equipment shortly will already arrive to the scene. (distance from Taraz more than 110 km).
Also on the place search and rescue works spend more than 60 people of the military personnel in part 91678 and crews of emergency medical service.
At the moment in total 10 people (are inspected by doctors) are salvaged and 7 corpses are revealed," the official representative of committee on emergency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan Ruslan Imankulov reported.

Second wave of floods hits N Kazakhstan region
Due to the second wave of flooding, water level rose again with the overflow at 278 centimeters having increased by 21 centimeters," Kanat Duzelbayev said.
A number of villages in Kyzylzhar district and micro-districts Podgora, Kozhevenny, Zarechny, Kossogor are still under water, with 2,886 residential buildings affected by the flood. A total of 14,388 people have been evacuated in the region, with 1,037 accommodated in temporary shelters. All of them are provided with meals and essential supplies. 149 families have already received lump-sum social payment. 470 tons of humanitarian aid were sent to the region from Astana, Almaty, East Kazakhstan, Kyzylorda, Zhambyl, Pavlodar, and Akmola regions, as well as from Russia’s Omsk," said Duzelbayev.
