Kazakhstan is active supporter of 'One Belt, One Road' initiative - Xi Jinping

China's Chairman Xi Jinping notes Kazakhstan's active participation in the 'One Belt, One Road' initiative in his video address at the Kazakhstan-China Business Forum.

The volume of China's direct investment in foreign countries exceeded 70 billion dollars. More than 80 trade and economic cooperation zones have been established with the participation of China's companies. Up to 200 thousand workplaces have been created," Xi Jinping addressed in the video.


Xi Jinping noted that more than 100 states and international organizations have signed cooperation documents with China. Political coordination is constantly activated between the 'One Belt, One Road' member states, as well as large trade and economic projects, infrastructure networks are implemented.

Kazakhstan is a supporter and active participant of the 'One Belt, One Road' initiative. Over five years of joint construction, we together with Kazakhstani partners have become first-movers and made several records. Interface between the economic belt and the 'Nurly Zhol' new economic policy was successfully implemented. A list of 51 industrial and investment projects for the total 28 billion dollars was constituted. Bilateral trade turnover has a stable increase," he said.
