Astana. July 17. Kazakhstan Today - The Commissioner under the President of the Russian Federation for Children's Rights PavelAstakhov transferredinformation on Kazakh children on a ranch in the United States to the Ministry of Justice of Kazakhstan, Kazakhstan Today reports.

"We found two children from Kazakhstan in the lists of the children of the infamous ranch. According to these children I have the information ready to pass," said the Commissioner under the President of the Russian Federation for Children's Rights PavelAstakhov, during a meeting with the Minister of Justice of Kazakhstan BerikImashev in Astana, adding that on a ranch in Montana there are two boys from Kazakhstan, born in 1997, one of which is transferred to a psychiatric clinic.

According to P. Astakhov, "in the framework of intergovernmental agreements, the General Prosecutor's Office of Kazakhstan shall request, respectively, the U.S. Justice Department, such information (for children), they must provide."

We recall that in June 2013 Astakhov visited the U.S. Ranch for kids where, according to him, Russian children were kept in inappropriate conditions, who had been taken and later left by American families, including children from Kazakhstan, Ukraine, China, Haiti, Ethiopia and etc. As the Commissioner for the Rights of the Child found, the ranch was re-registered as a religious organization, to get away from checks and taxes. The organization does not have license or accreditation to work with children. There were violations in reports on the fate of adopted children. Astakhov said he intends to seek closure of the doubtful organization.

As previously reported, Kazakhstan has suspended accepting applications from Americans to adopt children in Kazakhstan, while the situation with the identified children on a ranch in Montana will not be fully explained by the official authorities of the United States.
