Days of Culture of Almaty opened in the capital

Astana. June 12. Kazakhstan Today - Today the Days of Culture of Almaty in Astana "With love from Almaty!" were solemnly opened in the capital's CCH "Kazakhstan". On June 11-19, within the framework of the international exhibition "Expo-2017" more than 400 Almaty artists will present their artwork to residents and guests of the capital, Kazakhstan Today reports.

In his welcoming address Almaty mayor Bauyrschan Baibek stressed the special role of the capital, recalling the words of the head of state that Astana is an inspiring symbol of unity, solidarity, belief in our own forces, incredible opportunities of our people, the press service of the mayor of the metropolis reported.

"Beautiful Astana is a symbol of Independence, the pearl of Eurasia, clear evidence of the wisdom and foresight of our President. The city embodies the success and achievements of Kazakhstan, its aspirations for the future. Almaty, beloved by all the people of Kazakhstan, is a city that went down in history of the country as the "golden cradle" of the Independent Kazakhstan. Due to the constant attention and care of our president Almaty today turned into a modern metropolis, a rival to many European cities. Within the framework of Days of Culture of Almaty in Astana we would like to show the rich cultural palette of our country, which reflects the national spirit, forms its own national code, as Elbasy says," said the mayor of Almaty.

According to Baibek, the high international prestige of our president was a key factor in the success of Astana in the voting to host the EXPO 2017.

"EXPO 2017 is not only the attraction of modern technologies and investments. It is a change of consciousness, the formation of open, innovative thinking." In fact, EXPO is one of the projects of spiritual modernization proposed by Elbasy," he said.

On June 12-16, twice a day, the troupe of the State Puppet Theater of Almaty will present its best performances "Kulynshak Pen Boltirik" and "Merry Bears" in Kazakh and Russian at the K. Kuanyshbaev Kazakh Musical Drama Theater.

On June 16-17, the concert program "Askaktray ber, kazaktyn sazdy eueni" of the Alatau Theater of Traditional Art will be held at the Zhastar Theater.

On June 11-19, the Ethnoauyl Almaty Exhibition Fair will be held featuring fifty of the best artists and craftsmen presenting their works and master classes. On June 17, from 11 AM, the concert program of the folk-ethnographic ensemble "Sazgen Sazy" will be presented to the visitors of the exhibition.

The festive events will end on June 18 with a gala concert "Askar Tauli of Almaty!" in the amphitheater on the territory of the International Specialized Exhibition "Astana Expo-2017". Asylbek Ensepov, Erbolat Shaldybekov, Ramazan Stamgaziev, Beibit Musayev, Edil Kusainov, Gaziz Gabdahimova, Sholpan Darzhanova, Saule Zhumabay, Azamat Askarov, the bands Ulytau, Art Dala, Alashuly, ensembles Jetinen, Sazgen sazy, Saltanat, dombrists N. Ashirova, Arlan Theater and others.
