The airline currently flies to 139 airports of the 41st country, operating a young fleet of 79 aircraft of the brand Airbus A320 and A321. The airline strives to stimulate demand due to the very low cost of air tickets on more than 500 routes in Europe and beyond.

"We remain highly committed to the further development of our route network, the creation of new jobs and business development. Our air service Astana-Budapest will stimulate tourism and business relations between the two countries, and will also open an easy and inexpensive way to visit EXPO-2017 for foreign guests. We are grateful to the Hungarian government and the Kazakh authorities for the support shown in the application process and look forward to passengers aboard our airliners, " Tamura Valois noted.

The newest step to expand the Wizz Air route network is the direction from Kazakhstan to Hungary. The low cost of Wizz Air air tickets on the route Astana-Budapest creates the potential to stimulate trade, business and tourism between the two countries. Budapest is also a natural point of contact for Kazakh passengers wishing to explore other destinations at very low rates.

"This is the best gift for the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and Hungary! Now Astana and Budapest will be separated only 5 hours. The capitals of the two strategic partners have become even closer," added Andrбs Barani.
