Kazakhstan Ministry of Information and Communication concludes memorandum with BBC

The Minister of information and communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan Dauren Abayev during his working visit to the Great Britain and Northern Ireland, met with Sean O'Hara, regional director of BBC Worldwide. After the meeting, the Ministry of information and communications has concluded memorandum with BBC.

Kazakhstan Today - The Minister of information and communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan Dauren Abayev during his working visit to the Great Britain and Northern Ireland, met with Sean O'Hara, regional director of BBC Worldwide. After the meeting, the Ministry of information and communications has concluded memorandum with BBC.

The sides discussed the prospects of bilateral cooperation and the possibility of joint projects.

After the meeting, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Ministry of information and communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the BBC Worldwide, the press-service of Kazakhstan Ministry of information and communication reports.

Under the memorandum the realization of joint projects is planned aimed at exchanging on the editorial plans, roundtables, lectures for national and regional mass media, training courses and seminars, as well as promotion of tourism and investment potential of Kazakhstan.

Also the creation of the working group is planned, the main direction of which will be the conducting of the joint consultations on technical development of Kazakhstani television channels as part of the transition to digital broadcasting, the exchange of information and experience, etc.
