Kazakhstan's startupper designed mobile app following 2018 Kemerovo fire

Inhelp mobile application gives users a cue what to do in case of fire and includes capital master plans of all public buildings of Kazakhstan.
The student of the Kokshetau Technical University for Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Adilet Serik has developed a mobile application that will help users to save themselves from a fire. The young man presented his project at the national competition of youth business projects SratupBolashak – menyn armanym (my dream).

Mobile application will present photos, video, text and audio information, including detailed data about the first medical aid. Due to this application, people can even dial emergency numbers in offline mode, "the designer of the project announced during the opening of the Startup Weekend in Astana.


In addition, according to the young developer, general plans of all public hospitals, buildings located in Astana, Almaty and 14 regional centers will be available in the application By the way general plans of some Russian objects will be available as well.

According to Serik Adilet, the decision to add application with the general plans of the objects was taken after the 2018 Kemerovo fire in Russia. Today, more than two thousand general plans of all public buildings throughout Kazakhstan are included in the application and it will be updated.

At the same time, the young developer notes that there is as yet no such application in Kazakhstan.

About 100 thousand tenge were spent for the development of the application, its realization needs another 500 thousand tenge. Currently, the application is not available, until the end of the year, it will be in Appstore, Play market and so on.

The Republican Startup Weekend started today in Astana. More than 900 young start-uppers in the age from 16 to 35, 100 experts, 50 mentors and 20 regional coordinators take part in the event. Within 3 days, 100 best projects will be selected, which will be held in the semifinal of the competition.

It is noteworthy that start-ups are divided into 10 thematic sessions: green economy, education, medicine and a healthy lifestyle, services, agriculture and chemistry, smart technologies and smart things, development of generation, construction and decoration, tourism and entertainment, catering and food products.
