Mass murder committed in Almaty region
Taldykorgan. August 15. Kazakhstan Today - Eleven dead bodies have been found in the Ili-Alatau National Park in the Almaty region, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan said on Tuesday.
All the victims had multiple stab wounds. Police have identified six of the eleven victims.
As reported before, eight dead bodies were found in the Ili-Alatau National Park in the Almaty region on Monday. Two dead bodies of a man and a woman were found 30 km from the Tausamaly village in the National Park in the forester's house and its yard. Also, 2 km from the crime scene bodies of another woman and two men were found. Then, the National Park employees reported that 25 km away from the scene in a nearby forest farm house was burning. After fire containment two unidentified burnt bodies were found. Just this morning police found another body - a man of European nationality. Two cars were also found - Nissan Patrol and VAZ 21213
A criminal case is initiated under Part 2 of Article 96 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan. There are several versions that are being tested during the search operations.
