Old woman from Kazakhstan impressed everybody with her dance

In the concert hall of the Taldykorgan regional palace of culture named after Ilyas Zhansugurov there was gala-concert, dedicated to the 30-year anniversary of the Organization of Veterans.

Almsty. 29 March. Kazakhstan Today - In the concert hall of the Taldykorgan regional palace of culture named after Ilyas Zhansugurov there was gala-concert, dedicated to the 30-year anniversary of the Organization of Veterans.

The oldest participant of the concert is 86 year old woman.

As Gala-concert demonstrated, veterans can hit the public not only by their wisdom and life experience, but also by the variety of talents.

Gray-haired grandmothers and grandfathers, who came from all over the regions, sang famous songs, performed traditional dances and even showed magic tricks. Choral singing and composition, performed by the orchestra were really bright.


86-year-old woman from Zhambyl region Umitzhan Botbaeva performed the Kazakh National Dance, which was really exciting. Her number got the squall of applauses. As it became known, Umitzhan was a dancer in veterans ' ensemble of Zhambyl region.

"As stated, no words! I am very glad that you are so energetic. Everyone is talented; especially I would like to highlight the performance of Umitzhan Botbayeva, who, despite her age, continues to dance. You are the example for our younger generation and our support. I wish you all good health and good mood. I am sure that you can successfully participate in major national and international competitions, and we provide support in organizing tours", the mayor of the region Amandyk Batalov said.

"The Kazakhstan people have a cultural, spiritual and moral heritage, giving the unique national flavor. Today, in an era of rapid growth and globalization, the important thing is not to lose it. Therefore, the objective of the older generation is to give all the knowledges and experience to the young people", the President of the Regional Council of Veterans Ermek Kelemseit said.
