Astana to hold BIGROUPIRONMAN 70.3

1100 athletes from 38 world counties including 593 from Kazakhstan registered for the event.

Volunteers of Asana will be attracted in the organization process for assisting the foreign sportsmen. The city’s hotels will offer a discount for the participants, according to the organizers.

The competitions will be held on Sundays in June. Besides, IRONkids will be held too.

Every child from 8 to 15 years can participate in this competition, it will be held on Saturday, June 16 from 12 to 15 hours," Rakhimbaev announced.

He assured that in 2 - 3 years the organizers will come out with a proposal to hold a full IRONMAN in Astana. As a result of the current competition, the 50 best athletes will be able to win a ticket to participate in the World Cup in South Africa.
