Almaty. December 24. Kazakhstan Today - Agriculture is now the most export-oriented industry as the world demand and the prices for food have grown. The President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, said in an interview to the state mass media, the agency reports citing official mass media.

"The agrarian complex has grown by 11 %, following the results of this year. We received good harvest. We agreed with the chairman of the Chinese National Republic on export of 3 million tons of grain to China and through China," the President reminded.

"We began this program in 2003, developed village and equipped it with modern technology. We must work further to increase productivity. 8 dairy complexes will be constructed. There will be 11 feeding platforms for manufacture of meat and processing of vegetables, fruit," the head of state informed.

"We understood that now agriculture - the most export-oriented branch as the requirements for food in the world grow as well as the prices," N. Nazarbayev noted.
