Almaty. September 6. Kazakhstan Today - Science financing in Kazakhstan does not even reach 0.1 %. Rectors of Almaty high schools, directors of scientific research institute, and heads of scientific centers discussed at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, the university's press service informed the agency.

According to the press service, representatives of scientific community have discussed the necessity of creation of the law on technological safety and increase in the Kazakhstan's share of innovative projects.

Kazakhstan is capable to develop its own clusters for manufacture of herbs and chemical reagents or to open manufacture of products from ferrous metal.

According to some heads of scientific research institutes and the centers, priority scientific directions have not been defined in Kazakhstan, which would give the chance to create branch project institutes. "Only then, both manufactures and business will be interested in stimulation of scientific activity. Financing of science nowadays in the country does not even reach 0.1 %."
