Astana. March 24. Kazakhstan Today - The Socialist Republic Vietnam is interested in development of oil deposits in Kazakhstan. It became known during political consultations between the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministryfor Foreign Affairs of Vietnam, taken place on Friday, the agency reports citing the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan.

"The investment sphere and creation of the joint venture in non-raw sectors of the economy of Kazakhstan have been identified as the perspective directions in economic cooperation. The Vietnamese party has proposed to invest in oil-and-gas branch of Vietnam and has expressed interest in participation in development of oil deposits in Kazakhstan," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan informed.

During the negotiations the parties agreed to make the contacts between foreign policy departments of two countries more active to discuss the questions of cooperation of Kazakhstan and Vietnam in bilateral and multilateral formats.
