Astana. May 22. Kazakhstan Today - The economic situation in Kazakhstan and Russia is under control. The Prime Minister of Russia, Vladimir Putin, informed during the meeting with the President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, on Thursday, the agency reports.
"The crisis has affected all. It has affected both Russia and Kazakhstan almost to the same degree in all areas. There are also some positive changes both in the world economy and in ours. But there are also risks and we know about them - in the banking system - non-return of credits that can affect the economy. As a whole, measures have been accepted in our countries and the situation is under control," V. Putin said.
"Goods turnover between our countries for the last year has totaled 20 billion dollars," he said.
