Kazakhstan, Russia agreed to verify projects of laws on energy efficiency

Astana. September 17. Kazakhstan Today - Kazakhstan and Russia agreed to verify the projects of the laws of two countries on energy efficiency. The President of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Medvedev, on September 16, informed during his working meeting with Vice Chairman of the government of the Russian Federation - the head of the Russian president's administration, Sergey Sobyanin, the agency reports citing the press service of the president of the Russian Federation.

According to the press service, S. Sobyanin informed the President of the Russian Federation on the course of performance of the assignments given to the government of the Russian Federation, following the results of the work of the Commission for Modernization and Technological Development of the Economy of Russia.

"The State Duma will discuss the Federal Law on Energy Efficiency in the second reading in October. As a matter of fact, this is the new project, the new version of the law, which includes all the proposals and all those assignments given following the results of the presidium of the State Council," S. Sobyanin informed.
