12:52 28.08.2007 New Ministers of Labor and Social Protection, Energy and Mineral Resources appointed in Kazakhstan
Astana. August 28. Kazakhstan Today - New Ministers of Labor and Social Protection and Energy and Mineral Resources have been appointed in Kazakhstan, the agency reports.

Berdibek Saparbayev now heads the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, earlier held by Guljana Karagusova.

B. Saparbayev was born in 1953 in the village Bes-Aryk of Kyzylorda oblast. He graduated from the Alma-Aty Institute of National Economy. In 1995 -1999 he became the akim (mayor) of Kyzylorda oblast. In 1999-2002 he headed the administration of the South Kazakhstan oblast. Since 2002 he held the post of the Chairman of the customs control agency. In 2004 he was appointed vice Minister, the Chairman of the customs control committee of the Ministry of Finance. In 2006 he held the post of vice Chairman of the Prime Minister's office. He was appointed the same year the representative of the government in Parliament. Recently, B. Saparbayev held the post of vice Minister of Economics and Budgetary Planning.

Sauat Mynbayev has been appointed the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, having replaced in the post Bakhtykozha Izmukhambetov.

S. Mynbayev was born in 1962 in the Taldy-Kurgan oblast. He graduated from the Moscow State University named after Lomonosov. In the end of 90th - the beginning of 2000th he was appointed the Minister of Agriculture. In June, 2003 he became vice Prime Minister of the Republic Kazakhstan. In 2004 he headed the Ministry of Industry and Commerce in combination. Since 2006 until now, S. Mynbayev was the Chairman of the State Holding Samruk.

Kanat Bozumbayev has been appointed the Chairman of the Kazakhstan holding on management of state actives Samruk. Earlier, he held the post of the President of KEGOC Company.

According to the government sources, Umirzak Shukeev has been appointed new vice Prime Minister. Prior to the appointment, he headed the South Kazakhstan oblast. As it was informed earlier, A. Musin was elected the deputy from Nur Otan Party at the pre-scheduled Majilis elections.
