Copyright of all the materials of the News Agency Kazakhstan Today belongs to Open Company Agency Kazakhstan Today and are protected according to the legislation of Kazakhstan on author's and adjacent rights.
Copying, reproduction (including reproduction on sites of the Internet for any purposes), processing, distribution, broadcasting, broadcasting through the cable, and through the network of the Internet, other use of the articles and other materials of the web-site www.kt.kz without written permission of the Open Company Agency Kazakhstan Today is forbidden and incurs responsibility stipulated by the legislation of Kazakhstan on protection of the author's and adjacent rights.
Any cooperation should be based on contractual relations.
We inform those who continue to use our materials despite out notices and personal requests made by e-mails and in telephone conversations that illegal use of materials of the News Agency violates item 3 of the article 19 of the Law of Kazakhstan on copyright and adjacent rights of June, 10th, 1996 №6-1, which states:
reproduction of materials is allowed without permission of the author or the legal owner and without payment of the fee, but with the obligatory indication of the name of the author whose product is used and the source of the material in the newspapers, ether or the message in the internet of the legally published in the newspapers or magazines of the articles on current economic, political, social and religious issues or broadcasted products of the similar character in cases when such reproduction, broadcasting or information in the cable has not been forbidden by the author.
Such actions incur responsibility in conformity with the items 2 and 3 of the clauses 184 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan of 16.07.1997 N 167-1:
2. Illegal use of objects of the copyright or the adjacent rights, that is purchase, storage, transportation, or manufacture of counterfeit copies of products and (or) soundtracks with the purpose of selling in significant sizes, are punished by the penalty at the rate of from five hundred up to seven hundred monthly settlement parameters or at the rate of wages or other income of the condemned for the period from five up to ten months or through public works for the term of from hundred eighty till two hundred forty hours, or arrest for the term of from three till six months.
3. The actions stipulated by part 2 of the present clause, done:
a) repeatedly;
b) by a group of people in preliminary agreement or an organized group;
c) in large sizes or causing large damage;
d)by a person who uses his/her official post
are punished by imprisonment for the term of from two till five years with confiscation of property or confiscation.
We would like to draw the attention of all the visitors and users of the News Agency to this information in order to prevent infringements of our copyright that can entail responsibility stipulated by the law.
