Almaty. November 23. Kazakhstan Today - The preferential mode for import of equipment, accessories and raw materials for manufacturers will be used within the Customs Union. Vice Minister of Industry and Commerce of Kazakhstan, Zhanar Aytzhanova, said in an interview to the newspaper Kazakhstan Pravda, the agency reports.

According to Z. Aytzhanova, the uniform customs space assumes the so-called "target import" that is import of technological equipment, accessories and spare parts, raw materials for manufacture and others. If these products are exported for the purpose of their further sale, regilar duties will be applied. If the parties intend to start or expand manufacture and sign an investment contract with the government, they will receive preferences, exempting them from customs charges."
