$10 billion credit allocated by China to the SCO countries will be used for realization of the economic projects of transboundary character. The President of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Medvedev, informed at the press conference in Yekaterinburg, following the results of the summit of the leaders of the SCO member states, the agency reports citing the official mass media.

Almaty. June 17. Kazakhstan Today - $10 billion credit allocated by China to the SCO countries will be used for realization of the economic projects of transboundary character. The President of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Medvedev, informed at the press conference in Yekaterinburg, following the results of the summit of the leaders of the SCO member states, the agency reports citing the official mass media.

"The Chinese National Republic has informed on its decision on allocation of $10 billion for various projects for SCO states. It is not an address help to the states that have been affected by the crisis, but the joint economic projects based on commercial principles," D. Medvedev said, having added that it will be the projects of transboundary character and will unite the countries to solve economic problems, including infrastructural issues."

At the session in the expanded structure, the chairman of the Peoples Republic of China, Hu Jintao, informed on the decision to grant the organization $10 billion creadit to contribute to the efforts of the SCO member states to oppose the global financial crisis.
