11 billion KZT to be allocated in budget for development of space activities in 2009

11 billion KZT has been allocated for development of space activities in the Republican budget for 2009. The Minister of Economics and Budgetary Planning of Kazakhstan, Bahyt Sultanov, informed today during presentation of the bill on the Republican Budget for 2009 - 2011 in Majilis of Parliament of Kazakhstan, the agency reports.

Astana. September 11. Kazakhstan Today - 11 billion KZT has been allocated for development of space activities in the Republican budget for 2009. The Minister of Economics and Budgetary Planning of Kazakhstan, Bahyt Sultanov, informed today during presentation of the bill on the Republican Budget for 2009 - 2011 in Majilis of Parliament of Kazakhstan, the agency reports.

"11 billion KZT, more by 3.4 billion KZT than in 2008, has been allocated in the budget for 2009 for development of space activities - for creation of target space systems and development and use of the newest technologies," B. Sultanov said.

26 billion KZT will be allocated for this sphere in 2010 and in 2011 - 25.3 billion KZT.
