360 thousand tons of fuel 13% below market prices to be allocated for farmers in Kazakhstan

Almaty. February 25. Kazakhstan Today - For the period of sowing the prices of fuel and lubricants will be reduced by 13% of the market value due to the subsidy programs, Minister of Agriculture Assylzhan Mamytbekov told a briefing official in the Central Communications Service.

"The interdepartmental commission on the issues of sale of oil and oil products decided to provide 360 thousand tons of fuel 13% below the market price to agricultural producers for spring field work," A. Mamytbekov said, according to the Prime Minister's official website.

The Minister noted that "at present the monitoring of the level of preparedness of agricultural machinery is underway. 74% of tractors, 77% of crop systems have already been prepared for sowing."

Mamytbekov stressed that about 60 billion tenge was allocated to support the farmers of Kazakhstan in 2013.
