Agency for Regulation of Financial Market forecasts decrease of insurance premiums by 15 %

The Agency for Regulation and Supervision of the Financial Market and Financial Organizations of Kazakhstan forecasts in 2009 decrease of volume of insurance premiums by 15 %. Vice President of the agency, Alina Aldambergen, informed during V International Conference on Risk Management, the agency reports.

Almaty. April 15. Kazakhstan Today - The Agency for Regulation and Supervision of the Financial Market and Financial Organizations of Kazakhstan forecasts in 2009 decrease of volume of insurance premiums by 15 %. Vice President of the agency, Alina Aldambergen, informed during V International Conference on Risk Management, the agency reports.

"Volume of insurance premiums is expected to be about 114 billion KZT in 2009 and will decrease by 15 % in comparison with 2008," A. Aldambergen said.

According to Vice President of the agency, "volumes of insurance premiums decreased on the following types of insurance: property insurance - 19 %, insurance of motor transport - 26 %, insurance against accidents - 32 %, and life insurance - 33 %."
