Agreement between Alliance Bank and creditors about re-structuring of external debt reached

The agreement between JSC Alliance Bank and creditors about re-structuring of an external debt has been reached. The chair of the National Bank of Kazakhstan, Grigory Marchenko, informed today during the press conference, the agency reports.

Almaty. July 8. Kazakhstan Today - The agreement between JSC Alliance Bank and creditors about re-structuring of an external debt has been reached. The chair of the National Bank of Kazakhstan, Grigory Marchenko, informed today during the press conference, the agency reports.

"The agreement on debts re-structuring with creditors was reached yesterday in London," G. Marchenko said.

Speaking about BTA Bank, G. Marchenko said that "this work will proceed until the end of July."

As informed earlier, Alliance Bank proposed debts re-structuring in April. According to the financial institution, Alliance Bank addresses its creditors with the request not to demand immediate payment of debts of the bank within three months and not to apply any sanctions within the limits of the agreements to have an opportunity to develop the plan of re-structuring and re-capitalization."

"All these measures will promote preservation of both financial stability and stable work of the bank and, accordingly, will protect the interests of all creditors of this bank," B. Zhamishev concluded.
