April total international reserves grown by 3.12 %

Total international reserves, as of May, 1st, have grown by 3.12 % (from the beginning of the year they have decreased by 1.98 %) and have been $19 479 million, the agency reports citing the National Bank of Kazakhstan.

Almaty. May 8. Kazakhstan Today - Total international reserves, as of May, 1st, have grown by 3.12 % (from the beginning of the year they have decreased by 1.98 %) and have been $19 479 million, the agency reports citing the National Bank of Kazakhstan.

For the accounting period, the assets of the National Fund of Kazakhstan have grown by 2.08 % (from the beginning of the year they have decreased by 18.28 %) and have been $22 462 million.

Hard currency assets in April grew by 3.88 % (from the beginning of the year they have decreased by 2.61 %) and have been $17 404 million and assets in gold - have decreased by 2.85 % up to $2075 million.

Net international reserves in April grew by 2.86 % (from the beginning of year have decreased by 2.34 %) and have been $19 381 million.

According to the National Bank, the monetary base, as of May, 1st, 2009, has been 2193.3 billion KZT.
