February 5. Kazakhstan Today - Asia is becoming the centre of the world economic growth. Professor of National University of Singapore, dean of Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, Kishor Mahbubani, stated his opinion during the forum Russia - global economy: in search of new models of growth, the agency reports citing the company's message Three Dialogue.

"The economic policy in the region countries is more liberal and is more focused on the market than in the developed countries where paternalistic ideology has become more popular." K. Mahbubani said that people now more think of political stability in the USA than in Asia.

According to Professor Edmund Felps, the economic growth of China is caused by its technological backlog from the developed countries. The future risks are connected with the growth of public debt forcing the companies to produce more goods for the state needs instead for the market, debt of the population and deterioration of the dynamics of the economic indicators in the USA.

E. Felps believes that fundamental reforms in the American economy can help to avoid the country's recession if the government starts to struggle with budget deficit.
