Caspian Pipeline Consortium in 2009 to keep same volume of oil transportation

The Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) in 2009 intends to keep volume of oil transportation at the level of 2008. CPC General Director, Vladimir Razduhov, informed at the summit 'Oil and Gas of the CIS' in Paris last week, the agency reports citing the CPC press centre.

Moscow. June 4. Kazakhstan Today - The Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) in 2009 intends to keep volume of oil transportation at the level of 2008. CPC General Director, Vladimir Razduhov, informed at the summit 'Oil and Gas of the CIS' in Paris last week, the agency reports citing the CPC press centre.

"As for the current production plans of the consortium, General Director informed that CPC in 2009 intends to keep volume of transportation of oil at the level of about 32 - 33 million tons, having reminded that last year oil transportation was at the level of 32.2 million tons. He said that during 2009 CPC does not plan to increase tariffs for oil transportation," the press release informed.
