Caspian Pipeline Consortium increased export of oil by 14.5 %

The Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) in January - April, 2009 has increased export of oil from the terminal Southern Ozereika-2 by 14.5 % in comparison with the similar period of the last year, the agency reports citing the consortium's press service.

Moscow. May 5. Kazakhstan Today - The Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) in January - April, 2009 has increased export of oil from the terminal Southern Ozereika-2 by 14.5 % in comparison with the similar period of the last year, the agency reports citing the consortium's press service.

According to the company, 11 million 618.09 thousand tons of oil have been shipped through the CPC system to Novorossisk port in January - April, 2009 as compared to 10 million 144.01 thousand tons during the similar period in 2008.

2 million 852.7 thousand tons of oil have been shipped in April, 2009 that is by 0.7 % less than in April, 2008 (2 million 871.74 thousand tons).
