Astana. November 13. Kazakhstan Today - China and India by 2030 will become the main consumers of more than half of world volume of energy resources. The forecast in the report of Prospect of World Energy published by the International Energy Agency (IEA) states, Kazakhstan Today reports.

"China and India by 2030 will become the main consumers of more than half of world volume of energy resources," the text of the report states.

"Consumption increases in the main oil extracting region - the Near East," IEA states.

In the opinion of IEA experts, these tendencies will demand by 2030 not less than $26.3 trillion dollars of investments, however, due to world credit pressure this process can appear under a threat, having created a crisis of supply by energy carriers."

IEA forecasts that demand for energy carriers in the world till 2030 will grow by 1.6 % annually and as a whole will increase by 45 %. As it was informed earlier, an annual growth of demand for oil till 2030, according to IEA forecasts, will make 1 %, demand for coal in absolute figures will increase more than on any other kind of fuel and will make the third part of the increased demand."

"Renewable energy sources will develop most dynamically and will overtake gas, becoming the second source of electric power," IEA states.
