China to allocate to Kazakhstan $10 billion

China will allocate to Kazakhstan $10 billion. Half of these funds will be directed to oil-and-gas sector of Kazakhstan. This arrangement was reached yesterday in Beijing by the President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev during his state visit to the Peoples Republic of China, the agency reports citing Habar agency.

Almaty. April 17. Kazakhstan Today - China will allocate to Kazakhstan $10 billion. Half of these funds will be directed to oil-and-gas sector of Kazakhstan. This arrangement was reached yesterday in Beijing by the President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev during his state visit to the Peoples Republic of China, the agency reports citing Habar agency.

During the meeting N. Nazarbayev and Hu Jintao reached the decision on allocation to Kazakhstan the credit of $10 billion. Half of these resources will be directed to our oil-and-gas sector. In particular, China will purchase a share in MangistauMunaiGas, Habar agency informs.

According to the President of JSC National Company KazMunaiGas, Kairgeldy Kabyldin, $5 billion will finance MangistauMunaiGas, the project Beyneu - Bozoy - Akbulak - Shymkent.

"Following the results of the negotiations, the Kazakhstan and Chinese leaders signed 11 documents. The parties also agreed on expansion of cooperation in such areas as education, agriculture, oil-and motor transportation infrastructure, and telecommunications," the message states.
