The difference between retail prices for goods and the prices for the similar imported goods is three times as much in Kazakhstan on August 7-13, 2009, the agency reports citing the Committee of Customs Control of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Kazakhstan Today - The difference between retail prices for goods and the prices for the similar imported goods is three times as much in Kazakhstan on August 7-13, 2009, the agency reports citing the Committee of Customs Control of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The prices for food have differed the most: lemons (3.5 times), carrots (3.3 times) and sausage (2.5 times). The significant difference in the prices has been for consumer goods: shampoo (3.1 times) and tooth paste (2.9 times).
