Eight priority sectors of agricultural development defined

Eight priority sectors of agricultural development of Kazakhstan have been defined. Vice Minister of Agriculture of Kazakhstan, Armand Evniev, informed at the coordination council session on industrially-innovative development of Kazakhstan, the agency reports citing official mass media.

Almaty. July 28. Kazakhstan Today - Eight priority sectors of agricultural development of Kazakhstan have been defined. Vice Minister of Agriculture of Kazakhstan, Armand Evniev, informed at the coordination council session on industrially-innovative development of Kazakhstan, the agency reports citing official mass media.

"The main criteria of the priority sectors were based on volume of benefits and influence on GDP growth within five-year period," A. Evniev explained.

Among the selected sectors - development of manufacture and export of grain and its deep processing, development of manufacture and processing of oil-yielding crops, development of manufacture of dairy products, development of fine-fleeced sheep breeding, and development of manufacture of meat and meat products.

"Realization of these projects will allow creating from 800 to 2 thousand workplaces and earning 571 billion KZT.
