ENRC reduced manufacture of ferroalloys by 30 %

Manufacture of ferroalloys of Eurasian Natural Resources Corporation (ENRC) in I quarter of 2009 in comparison with the similar accounting period of 2008 has been reduced by 32.4 %, the agency reports citing the ENRC press service.

Astana. May 13. Kazakhstan Today - Manufacture of ferroalloys of Eurasian Natural Resources Corporation (ENRC) in I quarter of 2009 in comparison with the similar accounting period of 2008 has been reduced by 32.4 %, the agency reports citing the ENRC press service.

"Manufacture of ferroalloys, including Serov Factory of Ferroalloys and Tuoli (a share in Xinjiang Tuoli Taihang Ferro-Alloy) has decreased by 32.4 % up to 253 thousand tons (I quarter 2008: 374 thousand tons)," the ENRC industrial report informs.

According to the press service, manufacture of commodity chromic ore ENRC was reduced by 31.3 % up to 618 thousand tons (in I quarter 2008 - 900 thousand tons) and manufacture of concentrate of manganese ore has decreased by 55.5 %, up to 81 thousand tons (in I quarter 2008 - 182 thousand tons).
