Expenditures of state budget of Turkmenistan on economy development in 2009 will increase by more than 40 %

Expenditures of the state budget of Turkmenistan on development of economy in 2009 will increase by 42.8 % and will make more than 19 trillion manat, the agency reports referring to the state news agency of Turkmenistan.

Almaty. October 24. Kazakhstan Today - Expenditures of the state budget of Turkmenistan on development of economy in 2009 will increase by 42.8 % and will make more than 19 trillion manat, the agency reports referring to the state news agency of Turkmenistan.

According to the news agency, the most part of budgetary expenditures are centralized capital investments. Their size will be increased by 37.1 % and will make 16.6 trillion manat.

In comparison with the last year investments directed for social sphere - education, system of social security, public health services will increase by 13 % and will reach 18.1 trillion manat.

The budget for 2009 provides 10 percent increase of wages, pensions, social benefits, and student's grants.

As a whole, the state budget of Turkmenistan for 2009 will total 294.5 trillion manat (58.9 billion denominated manat). Income and expenses parts of the budget for 2009 are higher than the level of the budget for 2008 by 39.5 %.

GDP growth of in the country in 2009 in comparison with 2008 has been forecasted at the level of 110.7 % and inflation will reach 7-8 %.
