Exports of agricultural food products increased 1.6 times

"The volume of exports of agricultural food products in 2012 increased 1.6 times and amounted to USD 3.128 billion," Mamytbekov said, the Prime Minister's official website reports.

According to him, in January-November 2012 the total volume of agricultural exports was 3.4%. "There is a risk of failure to reach the targets, due to the faster growth of exports of such commodities as oil and oil products", the Minister added.

Also, "given the decline of the gross agricultural production due to drought, there is a risk of failure to reach the planned volume of labor productivity in agriculture." According to preliminary estimates it will be about USD 3 thousand against the planned volume of 4.2 thousand.

According to preliminary data, in January-September 2012 the gross value added of the agro-industrial complex increased by 109%, while the plan was 103.9%.
