Fitch revised Country Ceilings for 40 countries including Russia, Kazakhstan, Armenia

London/ New York/ Hong Kong. August 18. Kazakhstan Today - Fitch Ratings revised upwards the Country Ceilings of forty countries, including Russia, Kazakhstan and Armenia, Fitch informed the agency.

The agency revised the rating of the Country Ceilings of Russia from the level of "BBB +" up to "A-", Kazakhstan - "BBB" up to" BBB + ", Armenia - "BB-" up to "BB".

The Country Ceilings represent top limit for all ratings on the foreign currency ratings of entities and transactions within one country. The Country Ceilings are not ratings but an analytical estimation and constraint on the foreign currency ratings of entities and transactions within one country, Fitch states.
