Forecast of mid-annual price for oil in 2009 increased up to $58 per barrel

The forecast of the mid-annual price for oil in 2009 increased from $40 up to $58 per barrel. The Minister of Economy and Budgetary Planning of Kazakhstan, Bahyt Sultanov, informed at the government session on Tuesday, the agency reports.

Astana. October 21. Kazakhstan Today - The forecast of the mid-annual price for oil in 2009 increased from $40 up to $58 per barrel. The Minister of Economy and Budgetary Planning of Kazakhstan, Bahyt Sultanov, informed at the government session on Tuesday, the agency reports.

"The world price for Brent oil, on average, amounted to $57.49 per barrel in January - September, 2009. The estimation of the world price for oil has increased from $40 up to $58, taking into account the forecasted oil price," B. Sultanov informed.

"Oil extraction volume in Kazakhstan in 2009 will be 75.77 million tons that is by 7.3 % more than in 2008."
