Foreign investments into Kazakhstan economy approached $50 billion

Almaty. June 8. Kazakhstan Today - Volume of direct foreign investments into Kazakhstan since 1993 has approached $50 billion. The President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev informed today during the 3d Investment Summit, the agency reports.

Inflow of foreign investments to our country constantly increases. If in 2003 about 5 billion dollars was involved, in 2005 – 6.5 billion dollars, with the increase by 1.5 times, the President emphasized.

At present, more than 60 countries of the world invest their finances and resources into Kazakhstan economy. The greatest stream of investments comes from the USA, the Netherlands, the Great Britain, Italy and China, the President noted.

The internal investments increase. In 2005 internal investments into fixed capital made almost 20 billion dollars. For 4 months 2006 internal investments have grown by 1.3 times, the President ascertained.
