Gazprom to increase by 13 % volume of purchases of gas in Central Asian countries

Open Society Gazprom in 2010 plans to increase volume of purchases of gas in the Central Asian countries from 35 billion cubic meters in 2009 up to 39.6 billion cubic meters. The presentation prepared for the meeting with investors states, the agency reports citing RosFinKom.

Almaty. February 8. Kazakhstan Today - Open Society Gazprom in 2010 plans to increase volume of purchases of gas in the Central Asian countries from 35 billion cubic meters in 2009 up to 39.6 billion cubic meters. The presentation prepared for the meeting with investors states, the agency reports citing RosFinKom.

According to the analysts, Gazprom in 2010 expects to export to the far abroad countries 160.8 billion cubic meters of gas. The company will increase export volume by almost 15 % in comparison with 2009. The average price of deliveries will amount to $326 for one thousand cubic meter of gas as compared to $296 in 2009.

Export to the former USSR countries in 2010 will grow from 53 billion cubic meters up to 66 billion cubic meters. The average price will increase from $208 up to $273.
