Government of Kazakhstan considered results of implementation of State Program for Industrial and Innovative Development for 2016

At the regular meeting of the Government, under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev, the issue of implementation of State Program of Industrial and Innovative Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2015-2019 following the results of 2016 was considered.

Astana. 28 March. Kazakhstan Today - Minister for Investment and Development Zhenis Kassymbek reported that Program and Action Plan for its implementation envisage 4 target indicators and 10 outcome indicators.

8 outcome indicators out of 10 were achieved by the end of 2016. As a result, due to the modernization of enterprises in the traditional sectors, 10 projects were implemented to modernize and expand existing production facilities for a total of about 68.7 billion tenge in 7 regions of the country.

In the framework of creating new points of industrial growth through the implementation of large-scale projects, 6 new large-scale industries were created in 4 sectors of the manufacturing industry (metallurgy, oil refining, machinery, construction industry) totaling 154.9 billion tenge, and 7 investors from the list of companies , Included in the Global-2000 / TNCs for the implementation of major projects.

In the course of ensuring conditions for the emergence of highly effective industrial entrepreneurship, 46 enterprises from 13 regions of the country received state support aimed at increasing labor productivity, for a total of 379.9 million tenge.

"In general, following the results of 2016, the level of achievement of the indicators and outcome indicators of the Program was 84.6%," Kasymbek reported.

Real growth of manufacturing industry in 2016 by 2015 was observed in 12 regions, the leaders in terms of growth rates are Aktobe (115.8%), Kyzylorda (115%), Mangistau (110.9%) regions. Labor productivity in the manufacturing industry from 2015 to 2016 in real terms has grown in all regions.

"At the end of 2016, the level of implementation of the Action Plan items by state bodies and organizations was 97.6%," the minister said.
