Grain yield forecast to be reconsidered if there is not enough precipitation

Grain yield forecast will be reconsidered, if there is not be enough precipitations within the next three weeks. Vice Minister of Agriculture of Kazakhstan, Armand Evniev, informed in the interview to journalists on Thursday, the agency reports.

Astana. July 10. Kazakhstan Today - Grain yield forecast will be reconsidered, if there is not be enough precipitations within the next three weeks. Vice Minister of Agriculture of Kazakhstan, Armand Evniev, informed in the interview to journalists on Thursday, the agency reports.

"If it rains in the nearest days, the situation will be more than favorable in the northern regions," A. Evniev said.

"We can expect increase of grain crops by 15 - 20 % if there is sufficient level of precipitations within the next three weeks," Vice Minister added.

"If there is not enough precipitations, the forecast, unfortunately, will be reconsidered," A. Evniev said.
