IMF worsened economic growth forecast for 2009 - 2010

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has worsened its economic growth forecast for 2009 - 2010, IMF report states, the agency reports.

Almaty. January 30. Kazakhstan Today - The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has worsened its economic growth forecast for 2009 - 2010, IMF report states, the agency reports.

According to the fund, economic growth this year will increase by 0.5 % (forecast in November - 2.2 %) and next year - by 3 % (3.8 %). The IMF also has worsened its forecast for the economy of the USA for 2009 and has improved for 2010. GDP of the country this year will decrease by 1.6 % (decrease in November expected to be at 0.7 %) and next year it will increase by 1.6 %. The decrease of the economic development of the euro zone in 2009 will make 2 %, growth in 2010 - 0.2 %. GDP of Japan will decrease by 2.6 % in 2009 and will grow next year by 0.6 %.
