"In January - December 2012 the foreign trade turnover of Kazakhstan with Customs Union countries amounted to $ 24.6 billion, or 6.9% more than in January - December 2011, including export - $ 6.8 billion, or 3.7%less, import - $ 17.8 billion, or 11.7% more," the Agency for Statistics informed.

According to last year's export to the countries of the Customs Union, the marked decrease in the export of primary commodities with a significant increase in exports of processed goods. Thus, the export of commodities fell in January - December 2012 compared with the corresponding period of 2011 by 23.2%, exports of processed goods, by contrast, increased by 16.9%, of which exports of finished products - by 29.9%.

In 2012 compared with 2009, there has also been a positive trend of increasing exports of non-oil goods in the Customs Union countries: exports of processed goods increased by 2.5 times, of which the export of finished products by 3.6 times.
