In Kazakhstan crude oil production decreased by 2.2% in January - August

Production of oil, including gas condensate, amounted to 52 361.9 thousand tons, which is 1.6% less compared to the same period last year.

Astana. September 13. Kazakhstan Today - In January-August 2012 Kazakhstan produced 43 million 822.2 thousand tons of crude oil, which is 2.2% less than the same period last year, Kazakhstan Today reports.

Production of oil, including gas condensate, amounted to 52 361.9 thousand tons, which is 1.6% less compared to the same period last year, the Statistics Agency reported.

In addition, in January - August 26 billion 969.4 million cubic meters of natural gas (an increase of 2%) were produced in the country.

Particularly the extraction of natural gas in gaseous state was 13 billion 820.3 million cubic meters (an increase of 6%).

Extraction of the associated gas in the reporting period amounted to 13 billion cubic meters of 31.6 million (down 2.6%).
