Kazakh-Russian business forum held in Pavlodar

Over 450 delegates of the forum discussed the topical issues regarding bilateral business cooperation such as formation of a common financial market, search for common approaches to innovations development.

Almaty. September 20. Kazakhstan Today - The Kazakh-Russian business forum dedicated to the development of cooperation in the sphere of innovations and industrial collaboration between the regions of the two states was held in Pavlodar within the 9th interregional cooperation forum of Kazakhstan and Russia.

According to the Prime Minister's official website, Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Kairat Kelimbetov, Minister of Industry and New Technologies Asset Issekeshev, Deputy Chairman of Vnesheconombank Alexander Ivanov and heads of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the two countries delivered their welcome addressed at the opening ceremony of the forum.

Speaking at the ceremony, Minister of Industry and New Technologies Asset Issekeshev emphasized that trade, economic and investment relations between Kazakhstan and Russia were gathering pace.

Deputy Chairman of Vnesheconombank Alexander Ivanov, in his turn, said that implementation of the strategic project on construction of the Ekibastuz GRES had special importance for the two states.

Over 450 delegates of the forum discussed the topical issues regarding bilateral business cooperation such as formation of a common financial market, search for common approaches to innovations development.

A number of agreements worth about 2 billion U.S. dollars was signed between the business structures of the two countries within the 9th forum of interregional cooperation of Kazakhstan and Russia.
