Kazakhstan Approves Wholesale Price Cap for Liquefied Petroleum Gas

Kazakhstan has reaffirmed the maximum wholesale price for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) sold outside commodity exchanges, keeping it unchanged under an order signed by Energy Minister Yerlan Akkenzhenov.

According to the document, the maximum wholesale price for LPG supplied to Kazakhstan's domestic market outside commodity exchanges has been set at 59,722 tenge per tonne, excluding value-added tax (VAT). The price will apply under the domestic LPG supply plan for the period from July 1 to December 31, 2026.

The order entered into force on July 1, 2026.
