Kazakhstan demonstrates 10th gasoline price around the world

In the country, people pay 48 cents or KZT180 in national currency for a liter of gasoline.
Kazakhstan placed 10th in the ranking of world gasoline prices, 24.kz informs.

Gasoline is cheaper only in Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan comparing to other CIS countries. Whereas in the USA, Russia and Pakistan gasoline costs 68 cents (KZT256), and around 1 dollar per liter in China.

Note, the cheapest price for gasoline is recorded in Venezuela (1 cent per liter), Sudan (13 cents) and Iran (29). Singapore and France sell gasoline for over 1.5 dollars per liter, while in Norway it costs twice higher than the average price, placing the country in the 98th position. Kong Hong has the highest gasoline price – 2 dollars and 4 cents. All countries have access to equal prices for oil on international markets but levy various taxes. Significantly lower gasoline prices can be found in poor countries and oi producing and exporting states.

According to the Kazakh Energy Ministry, 4 million tons of gasoline were produced in the country, a 129.8% and growth compared to 2017, and 4.7 million tons of diesel, a 107.4% year-over-year growth.
